Reading (and knitting) woman, as an addition to the other reading women.
After all the card was delayed. Never realized that knitting with knitting pins would take so much more time than knitting with knitting needles!..

Voor de geïnteresseerden in de 'making of', zie / for the interested in the 'making of', see the IUOMA website & Youtube.

"Stuur me je gewei"

When I think of antlers/deerhorns, strange enough I think of trees.
For Claudia Schramm, for her mail art project 'Send me your horns'.

Received from Andy T Geezer

My very first two received Mailart 365 works of Mail Art reached me within 48 hours! First Erin Fae surprised me with a real weird animal.
And now this great work of mail art reached my mailbox!
With a thin stamp mark added by Royal Mail.

Drawn and sent by Andy, well-known by My Real Wall.

Thanks a lot, Andy, what a big surprise to see such a beautiful pen drawing, made by you! I don't know why you ever could have hesitated to, or was waiting to start to put pen to paper, as you've got talent!!!

(p.s. I hope the written calligraphic words will say something good and not be offensive!? :o) )

More about the picture you can find here, and here.

One Pig flew over the Postcard

Finally found some time to finish this card for Nicole, owner of the Piggy One Mailart blog.

Concerning farm animals: at last I found a good destination for the European-spotted Dutch cow stamp!)

I am spoiled again, with such a beautiful Postcrossing surprise!
This remarkable robin has been made by Iita, 14 years old, who sent this watercolour painting from Finland.

Received from Amuldo

This special envelope - sent by Amuldo - contains a special piece of mail art. However, as it is in 4D (I think: the well-known three dimensions plus 'time' as a fourth dimension) I didn't succeed yet to show it here on the internet.
So have a little more patience! Until I'll have converted the - for you unknown - 'irl' piece into a digital version you'll have to enjoy the colourful envelope!

More work by Amuldo, for instance knitstones, you can see on, among others, MIEKniffity.

Hartelijk dank, Amuldo!

Received from Larisa

Again a treasure thanks to postcrossing.
Larisa, aged 13, sent me this drawing of Krtek from Germany. In real the drawing is even more beautiful, as in fact it is a collage, with three layers to see (and feel).
Bright colours, a friendly message on the back, what more could one wish? I am happy with it!

Herzlichen Dank, Larisa!
